Accounting - VRPlatform

VRPlatform (vrplatform.app) was built by accountants focused on streamlining Trust Accounting for short-term rental managers. By automating all reservations, payments, and deposits in your accounting software, users will be capable of generating owner statements with a click of a button at month-end. Owners can be sent their statements or access them through a secure online portal. Capture expenses only once in Quickbooks instead of manually inputting them into the owner statement.

Steps for integration:

1. If you have an account with VRPlatform already, Log into VRPlatform (https://portal.vrplatform.app/) and skip to the next step. If you don’t have an account yet, you can sign up for a free trial here: https://portal.vrplatform.app/sign-up

2. Once logged in, select OwnerRez.

If your VRPlatform account was created previously, click on the Connections Menu, then Add Connection, and click Connect next to OwnerRez. This will then ask you to redirect to OwnerRez for authorization.

3. On the authorization page, click Authorize VRPlatform.

4. Next, connect Quickbooks Online in VRPlatform (if you haven’t already done so) – steps can be found here: https://intercom.help/vrt-5c47e36cc061/en/articles/8032771-how-to-connect-quickbooks-online

5. Once you have connected OwnerRez, you can run a fetch to pull in data starting with your go live date. NOTE – this will typically be on the 1st of the month you are starting your subscription. Click Connections > *** > Fetch.

6. Select “Fetch All types”.

7. Select your date range – it should typically start with the 1st of the month. Click Fetch data.

8. The Status Drawer will open and update once completed.
