Hi All;

I don't want to be presumptuous, but I'm guessing that Canada represents the second highest number of guests booked into the ownerrez system after the US. If that is the case, it would be very helpful to those of us with a lot of Canadian guests to have Canada in the second position right under the US in drop down menu for country so we don't have to navigate to find Canada between the countries of Cameroon and Cape Verde. This is done on many North American airline sites.  Appreciate your comments or support!

How about being able to select the default (selected) country as a setting under Culture? This way the entire world will be happy!

That sounds like a good idea, but, what if you are in a small country and most of your guests come from somewhere else?  E.g. Luxembourg or Monaco?  It wouldn't do any good to put your country at the top of the list, it would just confuse people.

But, perhaps it might be an optional selection.

Optional works, but for Australia 🇦🇺 and other large countries where most of your customers are located it would make sense! 😊

This post is a little old and I am not sure if the issue has been addressed, but when I change to Australia as the culture, the US still appears as the default at the top of the list in the country selection in Credit Card and other locations. 99% of my guests are Australian and I know many of them have an issue when seeing USA as a default.

Or perhaps we could go a little further and suggest that the default could be set based on the country of the guest. This is mostly obtainable from the browser.
