Yes, the whole point of inactive properties is that they are not active, you are not paying for them, and thus, OwnerRez is not servicing them. It would be illogical to support reporting on them.
But, you can reactivate them at any time, and then their data will reappear in all the reports.
For having more accurate historical reporting, it would be helpful to have setting in many reports to “include inactive properties.” Occupancy and booking reports for example cannot be complete without inactive properties included.
So you mean using tools on properties you’re not paying for?

I agree. It’s the historical data we need. We have properties we no longer manage so need to mark them as inactive but shouldn’t lose the data from when they were active. How can we accurately report on turnover for the year without this information?
Our previous PMS did this.
You do not *lose* the data - it's all still preserved in OwnerRez. You just can't see it for inactive properties - you need to reactivate them in order for that data to be included in reports.
This really should be revisited. Having to reactivate a listing to see the revenue is a very fraught proposition. Owner portals should still show historical data. My revenue year to date is messed up by not showing homes that were managed. It makes sense that it would cut off when it was closed, but it should show for that revenue.
