API Integrations - Per-Channel Rate Adjustments

Our Channel Management feature is extremely powerful and can greatly simplify your channel advertising. Learn how it works by reading our Channel Management Overview article.  The most powerful part of our Channel Management is the API Integrations we have with certain channel partners.

Once you have an API integration to a channel connected, your rates will be sent to that channel automatically. By default, your standard rates will be used, but you can increase or decrease the rates on a per channel basis using the Rate Adjustment configuration on the settings for each channel.

To do that, go to Settings > API Integrations in your OwnerRez account and go to the channel in question. Click the Change button at the top of the channel screen and you'll see the Rate Adjustment setting near the bottom of the channel settings area:

The Rate Adjustment setting allows you to increase or decrease rates or both rates and surcharge amounts by a given percentage.

If you want a more granular setting such as per property, rather than an adjustment that applies to all properties for a channel, leave Rate Adjustment as "no adjustment" and create a surcharge instead in Settings > Surcharges. Here's how to set it up:

Option 1 - a fixed amount per night:

Option 2 - a percentage of rent per stay:

Either way, set the property and listing site criteria so it applies to just the ones you want to target with the increase:

This will be included in the nightly rate or added as a separate fee depending on what the channel supports.
