It would be nice if every article on the OwnerRez website would have a "Last Updated" date on them.  Sometimes, when reading a help article, I wonder if the details have ever been updated as the software has progressed.  It would be nice to know if the information has been recently reviewed for changes or not.

Along with this, it might be good to have a "Needs Updating" link on the article.

Thanks!

Steve

Yes, we actually are planning a major functionality overhaul of the support docs, including versioning for internal tracking, though I don't know if that part of it will be visible to end users.  For sure, revision dates will be part of that.

Ken - I just submitted a feature request to add <lastmod> tag to sitemap.xml and sadly the server crashed/failed and my feature request didn't make it. The lastmod tag would help those of us writing blog content to drive web traffic for direct bookings to get it out to search engines quickly.

Rather than re-type that separate request, can you please add <lastmod> as part of this?  In this context, it might only apply lastmod to blog posts in the sitemap, but that's probably okay since most other pages on OwnerRez hosted sites probably don't change as much.

Edit: link to new feature request here.

Hi Russ,

I see what happened on your other post attempt. This site doesn't permit you to use html like angle brackets (<>) in the title field. Can you try adding your feature request again as a new topic without the angle brackets in the title? This request is really more about www.ownerrez.com, whereas your request as I understand it is related to Hosted Website blogs.
